ADIC (Alcohol and Drug Information Center) Sri Lanka ADIC is an organization working in the field of drug demand reduction over last 15 years. During this period we have contributed substantially by introducing innovative and scientific based drug demand reduction strategies in Sri Lanka and to other countries especially in SAARC Region. The successful efforts to create a lasting change in communities by changing behaviors has been recognized by the World health Organization in 1993 by awarding ADIC with the prestigious WHO award, “Tobacco or Health Medal”.

FORUT Sri Lanka Having a long history of carrying out development programmes with a community based approach and nurturing local institutions FORUT has been working in Sri Lanka since 1981. Teaming up with local communities, community based organisations and collaborating closely with local government stakeholders, FORUT currently works in 14 districts of the country, surpassing ethnic and religious boundaries.
FORUT is strongly committed to capacity build and mobilize local community organisations to manage their own resources in a democratic and equitable manner, and advocate for their rights to basic services and resources.
